Maris professional background is combined with both policy and business know how. He has two masters degrees in social science and business management and he is dealing with wide range of challenges in his daily activities as a management consultant. He is focusing on tobacco harm reduction issues in his home country Latvia as well as abroad by participating actively in different projects and working with key stakeholders. Maris engage with the scientists, organises THR seminars, initiates social surveys as well as works on publicity, ensuring awareness as well as public acceptance on THR core principles.
